Phenoxyethanol

The preservative that keeps the formula safe over time.

Phenoxyethanol is a preservative used very widely in creams, gels and other topical products. Its job is to keep the formula fresh and protected once it's opened and in use.

Preservatives tend to draw more worry than almost any other part of an ingredient list, so this is one I looked into carefully. The grade used here is high purity, and I came away comfortable.
